The day reminds us of the importance of preserving our mother tongues and honoring linguistic diversity across the world. The programme began with a tribute to the language martyrs, followed by speeches, poetry recitations, songs, and cultural performances by our students highlighting the beauty of different languages.
This significant day, observed on 21st February, was proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999 to promote multilingualism and protect cultural heritage worldwide.
As a school community, we reaffirm our commitment to respect every language and celebrate the diversity that unites us.
